    Role Overview

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, early-stage startup. As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll work closely with the founders and engineers in a tight-knit, London-based team. You’ll have a direct impact on the company’s expansion into new international markets, shaping the future of the business.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop integrations with B2B partners and contribute to launching a groundbreaking new business area
    • Create and improve functionality that enhances the experience for all users
    • Scale the platform for new markets as the company launches in its first US city and beyond
    • Enhance the portal with insights, metrics, and features to elevate their performance
    • Identify and resolve bugs while optimising platform speed and stability
    • Work with the design team to translate creative ideas into seamless, user-friendly technology
    • Collaborate with teams to transform insights into impactful features

    Essential Experience

    • Product development background
    • Working in startup environment
    • Strong PHP and Laravel experience
    • Good ReactJS experience and good TypeScript experience
    • Proven experience building full-stack web applications using PHP and React
    • Strong foundations in relational databases (MySQL).
    • Experience working with REST APIs and integrating third-party systems
    • Previous experience working in startups at the seed or Series A/B stage
    • Good experience with Queuing (processing jobs)
    • Experienced with CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS or BootstrapCSS

    Desirable Experience

    • Internationalisation (i18n) experience
    • Geolocation searches of data (either MySQL or ElasticSearch)
    • Familiarity with server-side rendering and SEO practices
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
    • Inertia.js
    • DevOps experience, including maintaining CI/CD pipelines
    • Familiarity with scaling servers and databases
    • Understanding of infrastructure setup and management
    • Exposure to designing or building distributed systems, preferably in a cloud environment
